Getting Started

1. Registration - Anyone can register.  When you register, a profile is created for you.  All you need is a valid email address and the only information we require for registration is you name.  Some pages will only be available to those who are registered.  In fact, you won't be able to access the Verification page unless you are registered and logged in.  You only need to register one time.
2. Login - You must login to the profile that was created for you when you registered.  You will uses your email address and a password to login.  This allows us to uniquely identify you on the site.  This allows us to customize the web site to you.  This includes giving you access only to the pages you are authorized to view and update.  You must login each time you visit the site.  You will generally stay logged in as long as you interact with you browser on our web site unless you explicitly log out.  If you stay idle too long or close your browser you are automatically logged out.
3. Verification - If you are a member, you can become verified.  Verification simply authenticates you as a club member.  You are only required to perform the verification one time.  Once verified, your profile is updated and the site remembers that you are a member.  Each page on this enhanced site has an associated level of protection.  Some pages are only accessible to verified members.  The level of access granted is unique to each individual.  For example, the Hunting & Fishing committee chairman might have access to a page that allows him to update contest winners.  Other members will only be able to view the list of winners, not change them.
